HOT SUMMER GIVEAWAY - WORTH ALMOST $565!
As I mentioned before, my magazine had a huge beauty sale so now you have the chance to win all of these items of which I spent a total of $44. All proceeds from the beauty sale went to Sloan-Kettering’s Pediatric Cancer Care so my $44 was well spent.
Why do I do this? Because I really do get a huge kick out of doing nice things for people. Those closest to me will tell you that. And, really, because people should know what it feels like to work at a magazine where awesome things like beauty sales are a regular occurrence.
How do you win? 1. Follow me. 2. Reblog this post. 3. Feel free to unfollow me after the giveaway winner is announced as I don’t do this for the followers. FYI, reblogging this post multiple times will NOT increase your chances of winning.
How will the winner be chosen? Random.org.
When will the winner be announced? Tuesday, June 7 at 9 PM. But please note that you only have until 8 PM on June 7 to reblog before I close the contest so I can pick the winner.
What hidden costs are there? NONE. I will even mail this entire beauty bundle to the lucky winner at no cost to them.
The following items are all included in this bigger-than-Kim-Kardashian’s-diamond Hot Summer Giveaway. Please note that I list shade names where applicable and tried to give links to the exact item. No items can be substituted, changed or omitted. What you see is truly what the winner will get. The winner will receive EVERYTHING listed below:

Here i am complaining ,  complaining about school being such a drag, how whenever i open one my notebooks/school books i frown and complain knowing that i have to study.. but then i see this..
This little girl .. These books are her everything. She probably struggled and used all the money she had just so she could buy these books for school and get an education that we sometimes take for granted. At least we have the oppurtunity to learn. Yes the notes/notebooks and textbooks we have might be a bore to look at and we grunt and occasionally thinking to ourselves “Man this shits boring, why do we have to learn/write this” But in the end we know why. So we could persue our dreams, our hopes and ambitions. Even with the simple knowlege of knowing how to read and write, count and put words into a sentence can take us somewhere as silly as it might sound.
We complain of the education that we do have, but do we actually realise how lucky we are? There are many children out there like this little girl with a simple wish is to go to school, get an education, so they can learn to the best of thier ability. We take our books for granted, but atleast we have books to write on,text books to learn from. Most of this little girls books are ruined,It breaks my heart how some kids have to go through this while most of us sit on our asses and complain about what we have/don’t have, But look at this little girl.

Still no luck of finding a job. I’ve been watching Craigslist like a hawk since the day I’ve been back. I applied to 10 jobs (literally….) within this past week and still nothing. I think I might volunteer instead, to get experience at least. A lot of the postings required experience of some kind.

I’ll be OK in the end.

I’ll be seeing him next weekend. =)

Back at home

1

Finally back at home and it already sucks. My mom told me to lose weight 6 times already and I was only home for less than a day. I’m gonna be hearing this for at least another 2 years…or until I get the body I did in High School. Which will probably be never.

Job search starts now. Let’s see how long it takes me.

I miss Jun =(

Yesterday I finally met with my Big Bro Orrin for the first time in 3 long years. He looks the same hah. Still EXTREMELY tall! I forgot how tall he was until I took a picture with him. Probably not gonna see him awhile, maybe not ever again since I’m going back to SoCal.

Last night, I also went to Hot Pot City with about 10 of my friends. It was fun until one of my friends fainted and I took her to the hospital. It was quite a scare for a bit, but glad she’s OK now.

Sigh, only two more days left in SC. I’m watching Jun playing God of War 3 right now and he died like a bajillion times already lol.

Officially Done with UCSC

I took ‘Feelings and Emotions’ for 2nd session and one of the studies that professor Ray Gibbs talked about basically said writing in a journal is good. I think I will try to write more in my tumblr, it’ll be healthier for me in the long run. I know I said this in my previous blogs, but I think I am really going to stick with it this time.

I had a job interview to be an ABA therapist a couple weeks ago and I haven’t heard back from them. Honestly, I’m quite glad that I didn’t get the job (at least that’s what I’m assuming). I remember during the interview, the lady said I might have to work during holidays and try to get me to work everyday. I mean, the pay is good (for someone who doesn’t have to worry about rent, utilities, and food) and I would get experience. But that would also mean I won’t be able to see Jun as much. We’re having a long distance relationship when we go back to our hometowns and we made a plan to try and see each other at least once a month. With that job, I would only be able to see him once every 3 months or so. I don’t think it’s worth losing someone I love to a job I’m not even passionate about.

The reality of being a college graduate and going back to my SoCal home is slowly hitting me. It’s even harder to think about how I’m going to be away from Jun for that long. I hate it because we don’t know how long we have to be in long distance for. Could be a months or few years…who knows? Every time we’re gonna visit each other, I know that I’ll worry that it could possibly be the last time we ever see each other again. What gets me the most is living everyday not knowing when we’re gonna see each other anymore. I dunno what I’m gonna do without him.

O_o

3 weeks since I last posted?! So much for trying to blog at least once a week haha.

Charity Show was a great success, but I think it could have been better. Finally got to meet the charity!

Sashimi’s sooo huge! I still can’t believe how much she has grown over the past few months. She’s a year old now. She’s technically still a baby right? Rabbits live up to 12 years I hear!

I don’t like my field study placement. It’s so boring and I’m not getting anything out of it. I feel like it’s such a waste of time and gas for me.

Greek week was this past week! KGD placed 5th! I’m glad that we finally placed this year, I don’t think we placed at all previous years. We got 2nd in Powderpuff (football) and 1st in Futsol (soccer)!

I had dinner with my lil sis yesterday, it was fun! She is so ridiculously smart. She’s one of those people that don’t need to study and get A’s. She’s seriously gonna get into any medical school she wants.

I love my all of pledges, they’re doing really well. I’m so proud! =)

I have a midterm on Tuesday and I really don’t want to study/read…this professor is sooo hard! I have no idea how to study for her tests and she doesn’t have study guides! And her lecture notes don’t really help. =\ I wonder if Jun is stressing out over it as much as I am.

Last week I wrote the most B.S. midterm paper. Let’s see what I get in this class. Sigh.

Tonight is KGD’s skate-a-thon fundraiser. I haven’t skated in awhile! Too bad Jun can’t go.

Argh!

I finally got my Asus laptop over break and I love it.

Jun! I don’t know if you’ll read this or not, but use your own dang laptop now!!! You already downloaded SC when I told you not to. HMPH!!
